The Park Cafe (Portsmouth’s only co-op cafe)
…a new Cafe in the Park?
Well, you probably already know the venue (the Arts Lodge) and we are sure you already like it, but the Park Cafe is now under new management! After 13 years of subletting the cafe, we have finally decided to bring the cafe in house so we can now serve a more healthy ethical menu within a creative friendly surrounding as all part of the same, not profit-driven organisation.
We are at present cooking up a new menu that we would have refined by next spring but for now you can purchase tasty sandwiches and paninis, freshly served with crispy salad topped with original vinaigrette and a sprinkle of Tortilla corn crisps, or maybe crunchy toast with beans, cheese or jam: is your cup of tea! And, obviously, fresh fruit and snacks to have on the go!
Come and enjoy our large choice of hot and cold beverages including a glass of beer or wine and don’t miss the chance to taste a real Italian coffee made by our lovely Italian girls (just for this month!).
Latest News!!!! 2016…….We have become the first vegan and vegetarian cafe in the city!
OPENING TIMES
10am – 5 pm weekdays
weekends: through the winter weather dependent / longer hours during the summer!
*Sadly we were unfairly evicted from the premises in favour of big business but have been promised by the new administration we will be back one day in the future.
