The Strand Mural began in 1997, and has been under constant development ever since, winning numerous awards throughout its history.
After researching other ever-changing murals in the UK and realising that this was the only one of its kind, I extended my search internationally.
Finding nothing comparable, I contacted the Guinness Book Of Records to register the Strand mural as the longest continuous mural. The application has now been processed, and I will update here once we know the outcome.
Sarah Standing from The News came along to take pictures for an article (Published on Thursday 19th November 2020) – and she kindly allowed us to use her picture below.
Fingers crossed!
